Today’s blog title comes from today’s Daily Word from Unity Church. I was given a Daily Word publications for four months as part of my welcome package when I went to Christ Church Unity in Orlando this morning.
Here are some notes I took from today’s uplifting sermon:
Spirit will talk to you in a language you understand
See the Christ consciousness in everyone, and then we won’t judge them
You don’t have to fix everything, just acknowledge them
Compassion – what happened to that person’s life, why are they suffering? I don’t condone it, but I have compassion for them
What if I can see God in every Thing, not just everyone
Everything is God
God’s in the litter, the dirty dishes, the laundry I have to do. Am I willing to wash God’s dishes. How do I do it? I am! To the best of my ability!
I get to look at things with contentment and peace. It’s easier to be happy.
They’re also marching in the Orlando Pride parade, and I’m giving it some thought, depending on my derby schedule. Either way, I’ll be skating that day <3
Speaking of skating, today is day 27 of the 30 Days of Skating in September Challenge!
And we said farewell to Boston Biotch, and gave her our blessing on a happy move up north where she will freeze her ass off 😛
Skater love <3
